The federal contractor that processes your FAFSA data. The CPS performs database matches and calculates your official Expected Family Contribution (EFC), sends you your electronic Student Aid Report (SAR), and electronically transmits your FAFSA data (your ISIR record) to Hope College.

Every year students and their families must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the appropriate award year if they wish to apply for federal financial aid (including student loans).

You need to complete the 2010-11 FAFSA in order to apply for federal student aid for the Fall 2010, Spring 2011, and/or Summer 2011 terms. The latest date you can submit a 2010-11 FAFSA to the U.S. Department of Education for processing is June 30, 2011, and the FAFSA must be processed by the U.S. Department of Education Central Processing System (CPS) prior to the last date of your enrollment for the 2010-11 Academic Year.
